Four Children’s Hospital physicians and two emergency medicine nurses left Denver early Sunday morning to fly to Haiti. The team will join other medical relief workers at “Visitation House” in Port Au Prince.

Six men and women from Children’s have embarked on their own relief mission to Haiti. Emily Muggli, RN, Jennifer Bruney, MD, Misty Vivian, RN, Sam Wang, MD, Eric Tham, MD, and Pat Mahar, MD arrived in Port-au-Prince January 18, 2010 to offer medical services, from first-aid to surgery. They took with them an abundance of medical supplies donated by Children’s and area supply partners.
